CHARACTER INFO

• Character Name: Daisy Johnson
• Character Age: 31
• Character Canon: Agents of SHIELD (Marvel Cinematic Universe)
• Canon Point: 7x13 (after destroying the Chronicom fleet, before "death" and revival)

• Character History: Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki

• Character Personality:
— Brave. Even before becoming one of the strongest superheroes on the planet, Daisy Johnson exhibited far more bravery than most normal people. She was a hacktivist before joining SHIELD, working to expose the secrets of powerful people and organizations who had more than enough means to take out a 20-something with a laptop she won in a bet, but she didn't hesitate to fight for what she thought was right. And when she joined SHIELD, she didn't just sit back with her laptop and let others go into the field — even without proper training, she was constantly in the thick of it, even after an extremely close brush with death. Her bravery extends beyond physical action, though, as she showed emotional bravery when she approached her mother while time-traveling in the past, wanting to make a connection with the woman who in the future would try to kill her.
— Compassionate. Daisy's compassion is a big part of why Coulson recruited her to SHIELD and mentored her for a position of leadership. Time and again, we see her going out of her way to comfort others when they need it most, particularly those who find themselves suddenly burdened with special abilities, such as when a woman who has seemingly developed telekinetic abilities and believes she's being punished by God. Daisy makes a point to talk with the woman, sharing her own strained relationship with religion to connect with the distraught woman. This skill in forming connections is reflected in Daisy ultimately being charged with asset intake and evaluation.
— Adaptable. The ability to adapt to wild new situations is practically a requirement of being a SHIELD agent, and it is one at which Daisy excels. Her very recent time-travel adventure is a perfect example of this: she and the rest of her team had to blend in through the decades, doing their best not to draw attention to themselves while fighting an invading force of alien robots, and at one point, she had to solve the problem of a time-loop before they were destroyed by the time vortex. Nothing says adaptable quite like reliving the same scenario again and again and having to come up with a new plan a few dozen times.

— Mistrustful of good things. After a childhood of being in and out of foster homes and an orphanage, Daisy suffers from a deep mistrust of good things in her life, particularly "home" and people genuinely caring about her. She always expects something to go wrong, whether by her own doing or something beyond her control, and it's something that the wrong person could easily take advantage of. Even after finding a "family" with SHIELD, Hive is able to emotionally manipulate her longing for connection to the point that nothing short of physical intervention could break through his sway.
— Can't always put the greater good first. Every so often there comes a time, usually involving something big, when Daisy gives into selfishness and disregards orders for personal reasons. When faced with a warning that saving Coulson's life will lead to the end of the world, she doesn't care and tries anyway because he's the most important person in the world to her. And when the opportunity arises to take out the future head of HYDRA who lead to the death of millions, she's willing to risk the permanent, drastic alteration to the timeline to save those lives because of her own terrible experiences with the organization.
— Self-sacrificing to a fault. When Daisy blames herself for something, her guilt is so extreme that she ceases to care about her own life. She was ready to sacrifice her own life to atone for the terrible things she did under Hive's sway, and when Lincoln sacrificed himself in her place, she spends the next year running herself into the ground and putting herself in horribly dangerous situations in an attempt to pay penance for his death that she blames herself for. And when the team travels to an apocalyptic future where the world is torn apart by someone with her powers, Daisy insists that she stay behind when the team returns to the past so that the time loop can be broken without her presence.

• Character Skills: Her main skills include computer programming and hacking, as well as her superpowers, but she's super screwed here on both those fronts. What she does have going for her:
• advanced weapons proficiency
• hand-to-hand combat training
• pattern recognition
• espionage training
• tactical training
• basic field first aid

• Character Inventory: Characters may bring THREE items with them. These can be items a character owns, but might not happen to have on their person when they are brought to this world. They may bring tools they may already own to help them survive, or cherished personal items. The clothes they're wearing do not count as a slot, but if they have really good winter coat at home, that would count as a slot.
— ITEM ONE: her hula girl
— ITEM TWO: the letter Coulson left for her
— ITEM THREE: half-empty bottle of rapid bone-healing pills (17 tablets)
(These aren't miracle overnight healing drugs, they just reduce the time bones take to heal. And if approved, she would use half of them for her own injuries when she arrives and donate the rest to the town medical stores.)

• Important Notes: Advanced warning that Daisy will be all over the computers in town during the rare occasions of electricity coming back on! She's an exceptionally skilled hacker, so please feel free to frustrate her with uncooperative tech or boring as hell results.

• Writing Samples:
— SAMPLE ONE: TDM with Jim Kirk
— SAMPLE TWO: TDM with Peter Parker
