Daylight: As the clock hits midnight on June 1st, what should be the start of the midsummer month, and thus a time of constant daylight… does not happen. There is no daylight. The skies darken to an eerie (and familiar) green gloom of a strange half-light. The skies are starless, moonless. Something is coming. And once it has come, the gloom remains — the world will not return to normal.
Weather: While instances of fog (and thus Glimmerfog) will continue on through early June, this particular fog will eventually clear. Following this, the weather is incredibly calm — the world is still, almost suspended in time. There is a perpetual chill in the air, and it feels incredibly bitter out. No light. No warmth.
